Scene I:

2- What reasons Paris gives to Friar regarding the speedy marriage? (6-15)
3- How would you describe the exchange between Juliet and Paris? (18-44) - Is Paris aggressive, mean, gentle? Is he forceful, kind, somewhat arrogant? Is Juliet nervous, calm, scared, exhausted, clever? You need to support your answer with lines from the text.
4- What object did Juliet bring with her at the Friar? Why?
5- Give three examples of what Juliet would rather do than marry Paris (78-88).
6- What solution does Friar Laurence offer Juliet? (90-118).

Scene II:
1- What does Juliet announce to her father upon her return from Friar Laurence? 
2- What does Capulet want to do upon hearing Juliet's news?
3- Where is the irony when Capulet says "My heart is wondrous light. since this same wayward girl is so reclaim'd" (49). (wayward: unpredictable, willful)
